1-2-1 – PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES

I love working with all types of people of all ages, so whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced in your practice, we begin where you are at and create from there.

 

All postures and movements can be adapted for any level. I have a wealth of experience working with ALL body types, levels of fitness, age etc.

We are not fixed on shapes, we work collaboratively, using a multidisciplinary approach to support your journey.

What Is Calisthenics?

The practice of using bodyweight, resistance bands and free weights to gradually build physical strength and resilience that serves your everyday movements and more.

 

Why work with me?

  • I am an experienced movement expert - I've trained in aerial acrobatics, partner acrobatics, yoga, functional range mobility training and much more.

  • I've healed many injuries (physical and emotional).

  • The somatic nature of the body-mind means they are intrinsically linked. The body literally speaks the mind. As humans we hold the stresses and traumas in the fascia (connective tissue), which informs posture – and – both physical and emotional pain.

  • I create safe & inclusive classes, retreats & workshops, encouraging you to practise the most beneficial exercises in the moment to support your growth.

  • I've worked with thousands of people over the years empowering them through Yoga & Calisthenics to transform their physical practice.

  • I like to bring fun and playfulness so you enjoy the journey back to you

You don't need to be strong or flexible to start, you become strong by practising. Every exercise is adaptable for all levels, up or down regulating.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have been attending Lula's yoga sessions for over a year now. Her weekly lessons have really supported me with increasing my flexibility, developing my core strength and practising relaxation techniques. Every session is different and Lula explains postures and sequences carefully and calmly, describing how each asana affects and improves different parts of the body.

​

She starts with gentle breathing and stretches, builds up to some challenging moves (differentiated for different levels of ability within the class) and then finishes with some calming meditation. I wouldn't miss it!
